The marmot randonnee is a great single glove for a day out on the lifts. With its waterproof breathable gore tex fabrication these gloves are ideal for downhill skiing and will keep youfeeling and looking your best on the slopes. These are rather pricey gloves but are the warmest ski gloves i think i have ever owned in 54 years of skiing and i love having the security of the wrist strap when needing to remove them while riding the lift. It offers a great feature set decent durability and a super soft lining.

The randonnee is light enough for touring use 9oz in the 2007 version. The glove isn t coming off by mistake easily with this strap tightened. The palm material is reasonably grippy but i have seen better. They held up well to some tough situations i put them through on the mountain and not a bit of moisture got through the gloves.

I purchased marmot s randonnee glove for cold weather backcountry skiing then discovered i liked the glove for inbounds use as well. The randonnee is marmot s mid range ski glove.
